About the client:
Contra is a freelance marketplace and portfolio platform backed by $44M+ in funding from investors such as Unusual Ventures, Cowboy Ventures, and NEA.
The platform has grown rapidly, surpassing one million registered independents and processing tens of millions of dollars in monthly transactions. The main advantage of Contra is that it’s absolutely commission-free for the freelancer.
So if I take a payment through Contra, it means I pay 0% fee. Compared to 2.9%+ on Stripe, it makes a huge difference, especially once you start generating significant revenue. I switched my whole agency to Contra as well after we $100k MRR, and it was one of my best decisions ever.
Since then, I’ve processed over $250k in payments, become an investor in Contra, and an advisor.
Contra basically killed Fiverr & Upwork a while ago and continues to grow every month. And we help them with everything we can!
Summary:
Contra released its new feature called Lindy, for which we were making the launch video.
It’s an AI feature within the platform that helps you generate many more leads on LinkedIn. A perfect tool for every solo freelancer or an agency.
Then we made another launch video for them for Creative Arena. A place where you can compare AI-generated images, vote for the best ones, and get benefits from doing so.
Working with the Contra team was a pleasure, and they recently got an office in Domino Sugar. So I also work at their office all the time
