About the client:

Urpal is an early-stage startup in the AI niche with which we had the pleasure of working. The founder, Jesse Cox, who’s now a good friend of mine, reached out originally for his core website yasny.com, but liked it so much that he hired us for the second time for his other project - Urpal.

In a nutshell, it’s an AI companion that was initially planned to be a mobile app.

We did the website + pitch deck and helped him to raise the first round of $10M for 15%, which makes the total value of the company close to $67M.

After raising, Jesse was saying, “Mark, your designs literally helped me to close my round”.

The website itself is highly immersive, complex, 3D-heavy, and would probably not load on your iPhone, but will definitely impress thousands of people on X/Twitter. And that was the intention, make the website itself viral and win some awards (such as Awwwards & CSS Design Awards) which we successful won.
